About
Durham Youth Services (DYS) provides programs for at-risk and homeless youth in the Durham Region to prevent homelessness, provide shelter, and other opportunities and support services.
DYS focuses on solutions: they are expanding their services from their emergency shelter to transitional housing to outreach services for prevention and early intervention for youth.
Ending youth homelessness requires community-based and school-based prevention and intervention strategies. DYS works with families and community members to provide support to any young person in need.
